Thunderbolt Digital is one of the fastest growing web agencies in Surrey, creating beautifully bespoke websites for start-ups and small to medium enterprises. We have worked on websites and online campaigns for clients from a famous boy band to local charities, and we are also officially Surrey County Council's digital partner.

Having been operating for two years, we are now looking to expand the business into online marketing, and are seeking a marketing executive to join our team of online experts. You'll be working in modern contemporary offices with friendly staff that want to make Thunderbolt on of the top 10 agencies in Surrey by the end of this year, free fruit provided to keep you energy levels up and an office quiz for bragging rights for the next week.

The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of web trends and have a real passion for online marketing. You will spend each day creating content in the form of blogs and online articles to help drive traffic to a range of clients' websites, as well as helping to manage and frequently update their social media channels with interesting content which encourages user engagement through likes and shares. The ideal candidate will be looking to start their career in online marketing and is willing to learn and grow their skills.

Key skills required:

Passion for online marketing

Working knowledge of social media marketing

Excellent copywriting skills

Excellent written and verbal skills

Experience using Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google+

Working knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation

Ability to work to strict timelines

A strong work ethic

Desired skills (but not essential):

Experience using Photoshop and Illustrator

Experience using Word press and/or Magento

Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

Experience using Google Analytics and Webmaster tools

Candidates applying for an apprenticeship will also be considered for the above role.
